Jason Bourque

Jason brings over 25 years of experience and a uniquely balanced perspective to technology consulting. His background spans cybersecurity, unified communications, data center management, infrastructure operations, cloud, and enterprise IT strategy. He has worked with organizations across a wide range of industries, including financial services, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail, helping businesses navigate complex technology decisions in demanding business environments.

 

Throughout his career, Jason has sat on multiple sides of the table. He has worked for OEMs, filled multiple roles on the client-side IT team, and held VAR roles in both pre-sales engineering and account management. He has also worked closely with vendors, distributors, OEMs, and client stakeholders throughout the technology ecosystem. This experience gives him a clear understanding of how each party is motivated, allowing him to help clients structure projects, evaluate options, and negotiate with greater confidence and clarity.

 

What continues to drive Jason’s interest in technology is seeing how organizations use it to solve real business problems, improve operations, reduce risk, and create new opportunities. He brings a practical, business-focused perspective to every engagement and understands that technology decisions rarely exist in isolation. Jason believes the strongest outcomes come from balancing security requirements, operational realities, business objectives, financial considerations, and the people responsible for execution.

Community involvement has also remained an important part of his professional journey. He actively supports non-profit organizations such as the Michigan Council of Women in Technology and SIM Detroit, both of which are dedicated to developing talent, supporting members, and creating positive impact throughout the community.
