Greg Hatcher

Greg Hatcher is a former green beret that served in the Army’s 5th Special Forces Group. After transitioning out of the military in 2017, Greg dove headfirst into offensive cybersecurity. Over the years, he’s taught Windows internals at the NSA and led a 3-person red team for CISA that specialized in attacking America’s critical infrastructure.

He has authored and taught WKL’s flagship course on malware development, the Offensive Development Practitioner Certification, at the following conferences: NorthSec, Wild West Hackin’ Fest, and Hackspace Con. Greg is passionate about C programming, Windows internals, and abusing Active Directory. When he’s not spending time with his family, you can find him running in the woods.
