On November 12th, 2024, C3 Technology Advisors proudly hosted our largest and most dynamic Tech Summit to date. One month later, we’re still energized by the success of this milestone event and the lasting impact it had on the tech community. This year’s theme, BEYOND, set the stage for a day filled with meaningful connections, thought-provoking sessions, and a shared commitment to growth and innovation.
The Stats Tell the Story
The C3 Tech Summit brought together 330 attendees, 64 sponsors, and 3 community partners, with 38 C3 team members in person and 2 supporting remotely. Companies of all sizes, from small teams to large enterprises, came together to create a diverse and impactful experience. Over the course of the day, attendees participated in a collective 12 hours of expertly curated sessions, ranging from cutting-edge AI applications to strengthening cybersecurity strategies!
A Day of Thought Leadership & Inspiration
The top-attended breakout sessions explored key topics, including:
- AI in Action and Securing AI
- Optimizing IT Infrastructure
- Strengthening Cybersecurity
- Building Resilient Cybersecurity Strategies
The summit's three talk tracks—Executive, Customer Experience (CX), and Cybersecurity—provided tailored insights for all attendees.
Mainstage sessions offered engaging fireside chats, starting with C3’s CEO, Matthew Toth, and Dr. Paul Isley, an economist from Grand Valley State University. Together, they kicked off the day with the "Beyond the Horizon" session, delving into technology economics and workplace trends. The day concluded with an inspiring talk by Daymond John, one of ABC’s hit investors from Shark Tank. Attendees also gained valuable insights from the Women in Tech Panel and several other impactful sessions and panels throughout the day.
A Team Effort to Deliver Excellence
Reflecting on the event, Abigail Riley, C3's Director of Marketing, shared, “It’s our biggest event of the year. We bring executives together from across the Midwest for new ideas, networking, and thought leadership.”
Abigail’s highlight? “It’s always seeing the team unite with one goal: delivering the best experience for our guests and partners.” Abigail also acknowledged opportunities for improvement: “Speedbumps are inevitable with an event this size.” She added, “One thing we heard was a need for quiet spaces where executives could take calls. We’ll prioritize that next year.”
Kaitlin Wood, our Events Manager, added, “I loved seeing guests genuinely excited about the educational opportunities and already looking forward to the next one.” She also shared plans for next year, highlighting that “as we grow, navigating between sessions on different levels has become a challenge. We’re looking to host most of the event on one floor to improve the experience.”
Looking Ahead to 2025
The 2024 C3 Tech Summit was a milestone event, bringing together leaders, innovators, and partners for a day of collaboration and growth. As we reflect on its success, we’re grateful for everyone who made it possible. With lessons learned and inspiration gained, we’re already planning an even more impactful 2025.
