Welcome Erik, C3’s Newest CX & UC Engineer

We are excited to welcome Erik to C3 as our newest CX and UC Engineer. With more than 15 years of telecom experience and a career rooted in both engineering and implementation, Erik brings a rare blend of technical depth and operational insight to our clients and team.

Erik began his career in the telecom and CX technology space 16 years ago in a dual implementation project manager and engineer role, where he was responsible for designing, programming, and deploying phone and contact center solutions. From the start, he was not just advising. He was building, implementing, and seeing firsthand how communications technology decisions play out in the real world.

That foundation shaped his philosophy. Erik takes pride in being someone who does not simply “sell” a solution. Instead, he walks alongside organizations, helping them evaluate their options, understand tradeoffs, and ultimately implement the approach that drives real business outcomes. It is a consultative, disciplined approach that aligns seamlessly with how C3 serves our clients.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Marketing from Western Illinois University, a background that complements his technical expertise in a powerful way. Erik understands both the engineering detail and the broader business narrative. He knows how to translate complex technology into clear, strategic decisions.

Erik specializes in UCaaS, CCaaS, and AI, with a particular passion for emerging technologies. What sets him apart is not a fascination with trends, but a focus on impact. His favorite technology is not a specific platform. It is the one that creates measurable growth, efficiency, or competitive advantage.

Currently, his curiosity is centered on AI as decision intelligence. He is energized by how AI can compress time, accelerate insight, and fundamentally change how companies operate. For Erik, innovation is not about hype. It is about helping organizations move smarter and faster with confidence.

That drive for measurable progress extends beyond his professional life. Erik describes himself as wired for continuous improvement. He is naturally competitive and values discipline and consistency in everything he commits to, whether in his career, fitness goals, or hobbies.

Erik lives in Oswego, Illinois with his wife Holly and their 8 year old Labrador, Toby. Outside of work, you will most often find him on the golf course, traveling, or spending time outdoors with his family.
