Meet Our Newest Global Technology Advisor, Robert Lapp

We’re excited to welcome Robert Lapp to the C3 team as our newest Global Technology Advisor. Based in Chicago, Robert joins C3 with a strong background in technology consulting, cybersecurity, and sales leadership, paired with a genuine passion for helping clients modernize and secure their digital environments. 

Robert began his career at LaSalle Network, supporting small and midmarket businesses across Chicago with staffing and recruiting services. He later moved into the energy sector, advising hospitality and real estate clients on renewable solutions like natural gas, solar, and electricity. His passion for technology led him to Coro Cybersecurity, a fast-growing SaaS startup helping SMBs strengthen their security posture. He eventually returned to LaSalle Network to help build and lead the Technology Staffing & Recruiting division, partnering with IT leaders across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and data analytics. 

Throughout his career, Robert has cultivated deep relationships with technology leaders and developed a passion for projects centered around cybersecurity, digital transformation, and large-scale software upgrades. At C3, he looks forward to leveraging his experience to help clients simplify complexity, strengthen their IT environments, and accelerate innovation.

Outside of work, Robert brings the same enthusiasm and energy to his personal life that he does to his career. A proud Chicago native, he and his wife, Anna, call the Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood home and love spending weekends exploring new restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and their favorite local farmers' market. A lifelong athlete, Robert stays active through golf, basketball, softball, and paddle tennis, always up for a little friendly competition. He’s also a passionate sports fan who never misses a Chicago Bears game and a true music enthusiast who enjoys discovering new artists and catching live shows with Anna whenever they can. 

To get to know Robert a little better, here are a few quick facts: 

• He’s confident he ranks in the top 1% of parallel parkers nationwide, though there’s currently no official leaderboard to prove it. 

• He has a sixth sense for finding great live music and somehow always ends up at the show before the band becomes everyone’s favorite. 

• His karaoke go-to is “Castle on the Hill” by Ed Sheeran, which he performed live at his own wedding to rave reviews from both sides of the family.
