By: [Taylor Vossler](https://www.c3techadvisors.com/blog-retired/author/taylor-vossler) |Published on: Aug 23, 2021 |Categories: | [0 Comments](https://www.c3techadvisors.com/blog-retired/meet-kaitlin-wood#comments-listing) C3 is thrilled to announce its newest Marketer, Kaitlin Wood! Kaitlin is joining the C3 family as its new Event Manager. With C3's events growing in number and size, we saw Kaitlin's achievements in putting together successful events for clients and prospects and knew that she would be a valuable asset to the C3 family!  Growing up in West Michigan, Kaitlin graduated from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) with a bachelor's degree in Advertising/Public Relations and a minor in Philosophy. Prior to finding her way to the IT industry, she spent 15 years in the hospitality industry. Kaitlin has been in marketing for over 18 years, 10 of which have focused on event coordination and event management at her previous employer, an amazing IT service provider. You could say she found her specialty in marketing. ![Kaitlin-Wood-Headshot-1](https://www.c3techadvisors.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Kaitlin-Wood-Headshot-1.jpg?width=411&name=Kaitlin-Wood-Headshot-1.jpg) Kaitlin noted, "I have grown an appreciation for working with technology and making it accessible for everyone. I am very detailed-oriented and love planning and executing events of all kinds." She won't admit it, but she has planned and managed over 100 events in one year! That takes a lot of work and planning! ![PXL_20210806_200738641](https://www.c3techadvisors.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PXL_20210806_200738641.jpg?width=308&name=PXL_20210806_200738641.jpg) When Kaitlin isn't planning or managing events, you can catch her somewhere outside. She loves camping, trail running, paddle boarding, mountain biking, and more! When she isn't exploring the great outdoors of Michigan, she loves to visit her family in Colorado and travel across the U.S. Although Kaitlin has seen a lot of amazing places on her great adventures, she will always call West Michigan home! Kaitlin's love for technology can also be seen in her lifestyle. She loves her Garmin Fenix 6s watch! The watch provides her insights into her day-to-day health and fitness, helps her hit goals, and most importantly helps her navigate on the trails when she's lost in the middle of nowhere with no cell signal. Know of any great trails to run? Kaitlin's always up for a new adventure on a different trail!      **Want to learn more about Kaitlin? Here are 3 interesting facts about her: ** 1. She ran in the Boston Marathon and a few Ultras with 54 miles being her longest race so far!  2. She lives in a little zoo with 5 cats and 2 dogs! 3. She met her husband at the LMCU bridge run and a year later he proposed at the finish line of that same race!  ![PXL_20210815_185547226](https://www.c3techadvisors.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PXL_20210815_185547226.jpg?width=277&name=PXL_20210815_185547226.jpg)   --- Want to learn about other C3 team members?
